Marine Application areas:

• EcoKote paint, as a water-based product, is harmless, safe and easy to use. EcoKote does not contain any toxic substances.
• EcoKote does not give off any unpleasant odors when applied. The coated areas are available for service immediately after application
• EcoKote may be applied on marine materials such as alloy, copper, bronze, aluminum, PVC, galvanized steel, stainless steel, wood, fiberglass, and gelcoat (Not for bottom use at this time). Wood will not distort due to application.
• EcoKote can be applied directly to those marine materials that have so far been thought nearly impossible to paint. These materials can be painted on-site and without any priming application. Moreover, it is possible to create designs in any color (plain or metallic) with full matt or high gloss finish. EcoKote is the only successful marine paint system for these applications in the world.
• Although EcoKote is a water-based product, it will dry to touch in 3-4 minutes (at 77 °F) and is workable in 10-15 minutes.
• EcoKote is comes in over 16,000 colors, including 2,000 metallic colors. Design capabilities are limitless.
• EcoKote will not fade, peel, blister, or discolor.
• EcoKote has anti-static properties. Dirt accumulation on external painted surfaces is washed away by rain. Painted surfaces may be washed or wiped clean when necessary.
• EcoKote stops rust by reacting with the substrate structure.
• Surface preparation for most surfaces is extremely easy. For most applications, just clean and apply.
